Shown in a white framed lightbox, Lightning depicts a desert rainstorm. While rare, rain in the desert is almost always a spectacular display. Again in this piece, the drama depicted is actually quite realistic--the soaring rainbow, the driving rain, the mounding clouds, the crack of lightning flashing brightly against the mountainsides.
